Vinea
Community Guidelines
Last updated 30 October 2026
Vinea's community is a place to pray for one another and grow in the faith. These guidelines apply to everything shared on Vinea — profiles, posts, reflections, teachings, music, prayer intentions and groups. They are part of our Terms of Use.
Who the community is for
The community is for adults aged 18 and over. One person, one account, under your own name or a name you are known by. Readings and prayers remain open to everyone, with or without an account.
What we ask of you
- Speak with charity. Disagree about ideas, never attack people.
- Respect confidences. Do not share anyone else's intentions, struggles or personal information without their consent.
- Be who you say you are. Only verified accounts may present themselves as clergy, religious or a parish.
- Offer, do not solicit. No fundraising, selling or requests for money, and no seeking of romantic relationships.
What is not allowed
We have zero tolerance for:
- any content that sexualises, grooms or endangers a child — we report it to the authorities;
- sexual or pornographic content;
- harassment, bullying, threats and intimidation;
- hate speech, or encouraging violence against anyone;
- content that encourages self-harm or suicide;
- impersonating clergy, religious, a parish, or any other person;
- spiritual manipulation: using the appearance of ministry to gain money, influence or a relationship;
- spam, scams and misleading content;
- unlawful content, or content that infringes someone else's rights.
Questions of doctrine
Content you believe is contrary to the faith, or that claims a private revelation, can be reported. Our moderators do not settle doctrinal questions themselves; such reports are referred for review by someone qualified to answer them.
Reporting and blocking
- To report a post, tap the ⋯ menu on it and choose Report.
- To block someone, choose Block from the same menu. They will not be told, and you will no longer see each other.
- You can unblock people under Me, in Account & settings.
- To report anything else, or if someone is in danger, email claudeappiahsasraku@gmail.com.
If someone is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first.
What happens next
We review every report and act within 24 hours. Depending on what we find, we may remove content, restrict features, suspend an account or remove it permanently. Breaches involving the safety of children lead to immediate removal and a report to the authorities. You can appeal a decision about your content or account from the notice on your Me screen.
